In-Person Standard MHFA Course – 6 and 7 August 2024

In-person sessions run on 6 and 7 August 2024 from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm (Brisbane time).

A Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course equips participants with the skills to recognise and appropriately support someone experiencing an emerging or worsening mental illness.

The program outcomes include:

  • Improved knowledge of mental illnesses and treatments.
  • Knowledge of appropriate first aid strategies, and confidence in providing first aid to individuals with mental illness.
  • Standard MHFA Manual to keep, a Certificate of Completion and eligibility to become accredited as a Mental Health First Aider.
  • A keepsake card containing the MFHA Action Plan and a notebook.

This interactive, engaging, in-person course.

Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. Lunch options are within walking distance of the venue.
